How agencies set up an AI chatbot for client websites

Adding a chatbot to a client's website usually means asking for their login. N3 Chat's Partner access lets an agency install and verify a client's site from its own account, and pays a recurring commission on referred clients.

The usual problem

You build or manage a client's website, so you are the one who has to paste the chatbot's snippet and prove the domain is theirs. With most tools that means sharing the client's password, or walking them through a setup screen on a call.

What Partner access gives you

Partner access is for agencies that set up N3 Chat for clients. Once approved, you can do three things from your own account.

Install and verify client sites

For each client site you are linked to, you get the embed snippet and the domain verification steps, and you can run the verification yourself. You do not log in to the client's dashboard.

Pitch a prospect with a working agent

You can set up a live site on a prospect's real domain before they have an account. The agent already answers from their website. When they are ready, you send a claim link, they sign up, and the site becomes theirs.

Earn commission on clients you refer

Partners earn 5 to 20% recurring commission on clients they refer, for as long as the client stays subscribed. Each invoice a referred client pays is logged when it clears and shown in your dashboard.

What you cannot see

Partner access is limited on purpose. You get a site's setup details and the verify button, and nothing else. The client's leads, conversations, analytics, settings and billing stay in the client's account. Either side can end the link at any time, and it stops working straight away.

That limit is something you can tell a client: giving you access does not give you their customer data.

How a client gets linked to you

There are two ways:

  • An existing client chooses your agency from the partner directory in their dashboard, and you accept the request.
  • A new prospect claims a site you set up for them, and is linked to you automatically.

How to become a partner

  1. Create an account and tick the agency option, or request Partner access from an existing account.
  2. Accept the partner agreement.
  3. Wait for approval. Every application is reviewed by a person.

Running several client sites yourself

If you manage the agents on your own plan instead, each client is a separate site in one dashboard, with its own content, leads and settings. See how to run an AI chatbot on multiple websites.

What to offer clients

The pages clients respond to are the practical ones: replacing a contact form, booking meetings from the website and scheduling social posts and seeing which bring leads.
